CRISTINA García
(Galícia)
Cristina García, marine biologist and founder of Algas La Patrona, created her company in 2018 when she began hand-harvesting wild seaweed in Cambados, Galicia.
La Patrona is a collective of women, passionate about the ocean, who are dedicated to promoting this resource, one that is underused but bursting with potential: a healthy, tasty and sustainable product for the consumer, and essential to the regeneration of our seas.
MARINE LEYS
(GAILLAC)
Prior to her arrival in Gaillac as a wine producer, Marine Leys worked in the film industry all around the world. On a job in Turkey, whilst helping one of her employees to plant vines, she fell in love with wine.
She returned to France, got her diploma in oenology in Beaune and worked for various companies before, in 2012, taking on five hectares of her own vines in Andillac, between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean sea.
LA BLANC PLUME
(ROUSSILLON)
Blanc Plume was born out of Raphael Colin’s desire to return to the fundamentals of nature, with great respect for the rhythms dictated the diversity of the Corbières-Fenouillèdes regional natural park (Roussillon). Here about 50 species of birds find shelter, including a white-feathered (blanc plume) Eagle.
Trained in Provence, he moved to the area, first taking over the management and subsequently the ownership of 5 by first taking over the management he moved by first taking over the management and then taking over ownership of 5 plots of vineyard totalling 8 hectares, located in different areas and with different microclimates.
LES TERRE BLANCHES
(LOIRA)
In 2004, Céline and Benoït Blet settled in Oiron, a village of less than 1000 people situated to the south of the Loire-Anjou-Touraine regional natural park. Here they took over 5 hectares of vines owned by Bernard Coutel, all micro-plots perfectly nestled in a landscape that is naturally preserved thanks to the presence of vineyards, forests, meadows and bird sanctuaries.
